The Calamigos Family has consciously returned to our roots and are focused on our core values, centered around family and creating quality experiences and memories.

J. Grant Gerson and Helen Walter Gerson began the Calamigos Covered Wagon Club in the Malibu Mountains in 1937 driven with the fierce passion for building family values, offering family experiences, and creating family memories. They taught that family and community are represented in the five points of the star: Reverence, Loyalty, Honesty, Self-Reliance, and Sportsmanship.
